Hello! Welcome to Lunch Pail — Issue #2

Today’s issue is all about no-code. At Lunch Pail Labs, we’re big fans about the no-code and wanted to share some resources to get started.

But first, what’s no-code?

“No-code” allows programmers and non-programmers to create application software through graphical user interfaces and configuration instead of traditional computer programming.

Why is everyone talking about no-code?

The vast majority of people can’t code (0.3% of people can code), and our demands for software are ever-increasing. With all that demand, companies are finding ways to make software creation easier and more accessible. The tools are starting to make good on that goal with no code makers cloning popular products like twitter, civilization, and Zoom without a single line of code.

Is this just for nontechnical people?

Nope — a lot of the platforms can be extended with traditional code, and many developers are starting with no-code for MVPs and then extending when they need to with code.

How can I get started?

There are quite a few sites that have aggregated all the no-code tools. Here are some of my favorites:

And if you need any help figuring out how you might build your product or take advantage of no code frameworks, feel free to get in touch with us at Lunch Pail.
